DID YOU KNOW?
The Campeones Cup was launched in 2018 as a showdown between the champions of MLS and Liga MX. Since its inception, the trophy has been lifted three times by MLS clubs and three times by Liga MX sides.
However, the last two editions were won by Mexican teams – Tigres and América – meaning LA Galaxy will be aiming to bring the title back to the United States for the first time since 2022, when NYCFC defeated Atlas.
