After coming off against Sevilla, it has been revealed that Alberto Moreno could be sidelined with an ankle injury until the new year – meaning he’ll certainly miss this weekend’s Merseyside derby.

While the Spain international hasn’t won over every Liverpool fan despite holding down a starting role on the most part this season, he inevitably leaves a big hole in the Reds’ often-susceptible backline.

With that in mind, we asked Liverpool fans earlier this week who should replace Moreno in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI when Everton come to Anfield on Sunday – the experienced James Milner or summer signing Andrew Robertson.

And according to our poll, the vast majority of Liverpool fans want to see the 19-cap Scotland international given the chance to impress this weekend.

Despite being just one of four signings the Reds made during the summer, the 23-year-old has been made to wait for his chances since arriving from Hull City. An outing on Sunday would represent just his fourth Premier League appearance so far this season.
